Abby Suckle has been the driving force behind some of the AIA NY chapter's cultural tourism initiatives, including the successful Architectural Boat Tours of New York established in August, 2010.

Today, several distinct cruises, all hosted by expert AIANY member guides, offer lively narration covering architecture and engineering landmarks from all eras of the city’s history, as well as current urban planning and environmental issues impacting urban waterfronts.
